Mental Health Practitioner (ARMHS)

Deliver ARMHS services to adult clients in their homes, in the community, and via telehealth. Build skill-development plans, run sessions on coping skills, basic living skills, medication education, and recovery planning, and partner with prescribers and case managers.

Requirements:

  • Master’s degree in behavioral sciences/related field, OR Bachelor’s + 4,000 supervised clinical hours, OR licensed (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, LP, LADC, RN, etc.)
  • Meets MN Department of Human Services qualifications for a Mental Health Practitioner
  • 30+ hours of MN-specific ARMHS training (we provide if needed)
  • Skilled in motivational interviewing, CBT/DBT-informed approaches, or psychoeducation
  • Comfortable working in homes and community settings across the Twin Cities
  • Reliable transportation, valid MN driver’s license, auto insurance
  • Cleared MN DHS background study

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in behavioral sciences/related field + 2,000 hours of supervised experience, OR HS diploma/GED + 4,000 hours of supervised experience working with adults with mental illness
  • Meets MN DHS qualifications for a Mental Health Rehab Worker
  • 30+ hours of MN ARMHS-specific training (we provide if needed)
  • Strong relational skills, patience, and clear documentation habits
  • Reliable transportation, valid MN driver’s license, auto insurance
